The Cauchi's

Want to know the beautiful thing about photography?

I get to know some of the most supportive, creative, magnificent people in my corner of the Earth. Jen is one of those people. I met her over a year ago on the set of her own branding film where she began birthing the newest section of her company (Blūm Mama). Scratch that, she’s such an organised queen that she probably began birthing Blum Mama years before this film session. Fast forward a whole year and she’s been in front of my camera twice more - both times, in her own birthday suit at some point. The latest photography session was one where her hubby Luke, and son Ryder, joined us in a field of grass. Oh, and we can’t forget the child that she’s currently growing as well!

So there we all were, in a field of sunshine and grass with a whole wardrobe that Jen lugged along and a 4 page shot list. Like I said, she’s organised. To be organised is one thing but when you also have a care-free spirit on top of that - pure golden human! The Cauchi’s were entirely relaxed and comfortable in front of my camera which made for an easy session. Ryder was rolling around in the grass while Luke and Jen strolled down the hill. It was a sight that I hope the resident videographer (thanks Luke) captured at some point.

It has been an absolute pleasure and honour to work alongside Jen and her growing family. The persistent support and compliments of my work have only encouraged me to be more creative and excited with photography itself. I can’t wait to see their family become four and her business expand more. Wishing you all a magical and strong birth for the little Cauchi to be!
